Engineered to keep your building dry.

YOUR BUILDING IS MEANT TO BE DRY.

Leaks and floods are unexpected. When they happen, you need to respond quickly to minimize the damage.

Sahara Systems™ is where leak alerts combine with automatic shut-offs and plumbing depressurization to limit the extent of water and mechanical system damage when a leak or flood occurs.

When you think dry environments,
think Sahara.

WE SOLVE THE SHUTOFF PROBLEM

Typical flood prevention systems detect a flood and immediately shut off the supply of water. For building mechanical systems that use water or move water, this may result in damage to motors or pumps. The cost savings from the flood prevention are then consumed by the cost to repair or replace mechanical systems.

SAHARA MEANS DRY ENVIRONMENTS

1

DETERMINE YOUR WATER USE PROFILE

The first two weeks after Sahara is installed, we monitor your water consumption and pressure profiles.

2

MONITOR FOR
LEAKS & FLOODS

Sahara identifies leaks and floods by using a combination of physical moisture sensors and computer modelling to determine irregular water use.

3

THE SAHARA RESPONSE

When a leak or flood is detected, Sahara will:

  • Shut off the water through automatic valves

  • Turn off booster and circulating pumps

  • Depressurises plumbing systems

  • Send an alarm to security, management, and the mechanical contractor

COMMUNICATION & INTEGRATION

Using Schneider Electrics’ building management platform, Sahara can standalone or be connected to your building automation system to provide additional mechanical equipment shut-downs such as the boiler and chiller plant.

HOW YOU ARE NOTIFIED

When Sahara determines there is a leak or flood, security, property management, and the mechanical contractor are notified through email, online dashboard, and on the Sahara display panel installed at your concierge.

SAHARA DASHBOARD

Monitor and track water consumption use and get a clear picture of where leaks were detected, and which mechanical and plumbing systems have been shut down to minimize damage.

WHERE IS SAHARA INSTALLED

Moisture sensors and automatic shut-offs are installed through-out the building:
•    Water Main
•    Booster Pump
•    Domestic and HVAC Risers
•    Cooling Tower
•    Pool Mechanical

WHY SAHARA

A different approach, means different results.

For over 20 years, our engineers have been innovating to solve critical issues in mechanical and plumbing systems.

We're passionate about water, but we want it in the right place: inside your pipes and pumps.

When it comes to your indoor environments, we want them dry.
